Founded in 1986, the Whatcom Hills Waldorf School (WHWS) in Bellingham is part of the largest independent, non-denominational educational movement in the world. WHWS integrates academics and the arts, inspiring life-long learning in each student and enabling them to fully develop their unique capacities and potential. Children love to learn through our vibrant, creative and balanced educational programs for preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle school students. Botany & Beeswax

Humans could not survive without the sun, plants and pollinators that provide sustenance for our lives. This class explains these relationships. Participants may explore plant physiology by modeling a plant out of supple, fragrant beeswax. With Kuros Zahedi, Fifth Grade Teacher.
